Dajana Vukojević, University of East Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina

Dajana Vukojevic holds a doctorate degree in Human geography from the University of East Sarajevo. She completed and defended her PhD thesis, titled “The role of tourism in the functional transformation of the regional canters of Republic of Srpska” in 2014.
Since then tourism field remains her research interests, publishing widely in peer view journals. She is particularly interested in tourism development, focusing on cultural, rural, and wine tourism.
Dajana is also an assistant professor at the Dzemal Bijedić University in Mostar at study program of Tourism. In the last 4 years, she has taught modules in tourism management and tourism geography in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including master program in cultural tourism. Dr. Vukojević is a reviewer on various peer-reviewed journals in the field of tourism and geography.
Dajana Vukojevic is also a lecturer in lifelong learning courses in the field of Cultural Tourism and certified trainer for TRAIN program.
Dr. Vukojevic has been involved in a number of international projects such as TEMPUS and Erasmus+, in different capacities including project coordination and project management. She was part of the team that drafted the European Charter of the University for Researchers and the Code of Practice for Researchers (Charter and Code).
She is a leading expert at the University of East Sarajevo on the project Strengthening Capacities for Tourism Changes in the WB Building Competencies for Quality Management of Heritage and Cultural Tourism – CULTURWB / Erasmus + program and research project “State and Perspectives of Wine Tourism in the Republic of Srpska” funded by the Government of the Republic of Srpska, Ministry of Science and Technology Development, Higher Education and the Information Society.
