Emmanuel Frimpong holds BA in Economics and Geography and MBA in Finance from KNUST and University of Leicester (UK) respectively.
Emmanuel is the CEO of Pishon Consult and also the Founder and President of People of Purpose (a youth development NGO)
Emmanuel lectures at the Hotel, Tourism and Catering Taining Institute (HOTCATT)
Emmanuel is also the Executive Secretary for Ghana Tourism Federation.(GHATOF) the umbrella body for all the tourism trade associations in Ghana. He is also the Board Chair for Kids in Tourism as
nd a Board member for Tourism and Hospitality sector skills bodies. He is also a patron of Ghana Association of Tourism and Hospitality Students. Emmanuel is a regular contributor to Tv and Radio discussions on Tourism and Hospitality issues.
Emmanuel is currently a member of the committee set up to look into the impact of COVID-19 on the travel, tourism and hospitality industry in Ghana.
I believe the time has come for Africa to take her rightful position in the Tourism sector. I believe one of the easiest ways African countries can come out of poverty and youth unemployment is through Tourism. This can only be achieved if we come together and package our and present what we are blessed with well.
As a member of ATB, Ambassador for ATB Hope Project in Ghana, Executive Secretary for Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF), the umbrella body for all tourism and hospitality private sector in Ghana, Patron for the Ghana Association of Tourism and Hospitality Students, etc. I believe I am well positioned to contribute to the course of WTN. Together we can make African Tourism sector envy of all.
