Mrs Cynthia Kumadeka, is the founder and CEO of Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd based in Centurion in South Africa. She is currently studying towards her PhD in Management studies with the University of South Africa. The founder also has Masters (MCom) Degree in Business Management, Honours Degree in business management, Bachelor (BCom) Degree in Accounting and Information Systems. She has also done non-degree course in Financial Management and has N4 and N5 qualifications in Financial Management. She has work experiences with various organizations. She also held different positions such as Business Development Manager, Tender Planner, Senior Business Analyst, Project Manager, Credit Controller and a Bookkeeper in various companies.

Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd is an ocean based business providing ocean-related services and exposing the ocean sectors to individuals, government, private sectors, communities, schools and rural communities in South Africa, Africa and international communities.
Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd also aims at empowering young women, students, youth and aspiring entrepreneurs through their various ocean programmes, workshops, seminars and conferences to guide them to show interest in taking careers in the ocean sectors. The company also accommodates people from disadvantaged communities in South Africa.

Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd has also forged partnership and collaboration with Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism, Marine Dynamics, Raggy Charters and George Tourism and is listed on South African International Maritime Institutes (SAIMI’S) database.
Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd is also in partnership with the Maritime studies and Survival Center: Cape Pennisula University of Technology, Durban University of Technology and Shepherds Grammar School.

Kesema Ocean Consultancy Services is one of the subsidiaries of Kesema Ocean Economy and Enterprise Development (Pty) Ltd.
Kesema Ocean Consultants aims is to create awareness about the enormous opportunities available in the ocean sectors. The company mentors and empowers young women, youth and students from primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and Universities in South Africa and Africa show interest in taking careers in the Ocean Sectors.
The subsidiary sector also aims to educate young graduates in South Africa and Africa about the job prospects available in the ocean sectors.
In addition, Kesema Ocean Consultant Services aimed to encourage enterprise development initiatives through our various business guidelines developed about the business opportunities in the ocean sectors.

Kesema Transport and Logistics Services deal with sorting, arranging, wrapping & packaging, air freight delivery, clearance of goods and services for clients through agencies, transporting goods via the sea and ensure that it is delivered safely to its destination. It also involved in getting the cargo from the manufacturer’s warehouse to the receiver’s warehouse including arranging for shipping services.
