A passionate hospitality veteran with close to three decades of work experience in the industry. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the finest global hospitality brands across South Asia and Southeast Asia.

A strong upholder of lifelong learning and growth, Ashwani believes in competing against self and improving every day. With a focus on creating best in class value for all stakeholders, while setting benchmarks that compare to the highest global standards. Ashwani is currently leading the largest Crowne Plaza, part of Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), in South West Asia to excellence, which has also been internationally acclaimed by World Luxury Hotel Awards 2020 recently. He also feels honored for being recognized as India’s Top 100 Great People Managers by Forbes India.

Along with his zeal for hotels, he also serves as the member of Board of Studies for Galgotias University, Tedco Education and Graphic Era University in India.

Apart from hospitality which is his professional passion, Ashwani nurtures a strong interest in fitness and regularly swims, cycles, plays golf, and tennis. He is also an avid collector of vinyl music and art.
