I am a marketing, branding, and tourism expert for more than 38 years working professionally on a managerial level with leading tourism &travel companies. I have represented those companies worldwide during, conferences, congresses, and exhibitions.
Currently, I represent an ınternational company Taste For your Service, and would like to serve WTN to my best knowledge.
I am also a member of SKAL and International Gastronomy Tourism Association in order to create new projects.
WHO I AM?
Born on 29 August 1958 in Ankara I am a highly qualified expert in tourism specializing in the field of branding and marketing with more than 38 years of professional experience at leading travel agencies and tour operators.
After graduating from the American Academy in Istanbul, I attended German Literature and History courses in Germany.
I have started my professional life as an information officer at Turkish Airlines and continued to work at Turk Ekspres Aviation and Tourism Corp., “the representative of American Express in Turkey” giving destination management services to AMEX cardholders worldwide.I was responsible for the annual marketing plan and business development of up-market clientele.
I have been offered a general manager position at Sabancı Holding’s tourism division when the leading industrial holding of Turkey first started to enter the tourism and travel industry. Besides the establishment and management of their travel agency named Vista, which soon became the leading company in tourism, my main task during this phase was to increase international sales and networking.I showed great success by contracting the exclusive representation of Carlson Wagon-Lits Travel in Turkey. I gained a new position as “Carlson Wagonlit’s Account Manager “ and traveled to more than 50 countries to sign global business contracts.
During my 10 years of professional life at Sabancı group, she has attended many international and national exhibitions, conferences, and congresses including
ASTA ( American Society of Travel Agents) and UFTAA ( United Federation of Travel Agents) annual meetings and played an important role in marketing and promoting Turkey as a tourism destination.
I continued to work for the establishment of new travel agencies such as Freebird, Hualin, and Jestur ; build up marketing strategies and business plans for these companies.
By that time I gave reports to high circulation economy magazines of Turkey about developing marketing strategies to enhance the development of tourism in several scopes.
In 2008, I was offered the “General Manager – Turkey” position by Cedok “the largest and oldest tour operator in the Czech Republic” for their new establishment in Turkey.
Being Responsible for marketing, branding and promoting the company in annual international meetings, I have participated in many travel and tourism exhibitions worldwide to promote Ahoy Turizm / Cedok and Turkey.

Having extensive experience in marketing and branding in the tourism sector, my knowledge of international practices and work in an international environment combined with my strong management, communication, and research skills encouraged me to set up this website, share my experiences and new projects.
My deep love and interest in history and appreciation of the evolution of the creation of mankind throughout the ages push me to TRAVEL & OBSERVE & LEARN…
I feel very fortunate to have chosen the right job although I was too young to foresee and my special thanks go to my parents and educators who have opened up and led me on this path.
