I’m Director at the National Tourism Board of Nepal. I’ve started my career in tourism in 1998 and have worked in various tourism organizations in different capacities. From 2004 – 2008, I’d worked as a Manager, Sales in Nepal’s pioneer adventure travel, river rafting, jungle lodges, and wildlife safari operating company – Tiger Mountain. After working for 10 years until 2008 at various private sector enterprises, I’ve joined the Nepal Tourism Board (NTO of Nepal) as a Manager and have worked in tourism product development related activities. During my tenure until 2018, I’ve handled Tourism Products & Resources Development Department and also the Corporate Services Department. I also got the chance to head the institution for a shorter period of time. I’ve worked as a Province Office Chief of NTB Provincial Office for a year and is currently working as HoD of Research, Planning, and Monitoring Department.
I’ve done Masters in Business Studies and also in Tourism Management. Besides that, I’m a Masters of International Relations and Diplomacy.

I’ve been faculty of various Management Subjects of Bachelor as well as Master’s Level and is part-time faculty for some of the tourism colleges in Nepal.
During free time, I love to travel and is fond of modeling. I’ve worked for some TVCs as well as have done Movie too.

I wish to contribute to the global discussion, a suggestion for the Project Hope Travel Task Force. I wish to contribute my experiences/knowledge for the betterment of the global tourism community.
