Based in Malaysia, I’m an Asia-based travel and consumer trends analyst, speaker and consultant with 17 years of experience in China and South East Asia. I am regularly invited by the media to commentate on Asian travel economics, trends and developments. I am Director of Check-in Asia, a travel intelligence & strategic marketing firm with bases in Hong Kong, Shanghai & Kuala Lumpur. Producer of Asia Travel Re:Set, and co-host of The South East Asia Travel Show. A member of the Mekong Tourism Advisory Group, I’ve worked with leading hotel groups, tourism boards, OTAs and travel organisations. I’ve produced White Papers on the tourism economies of South East Asia, Australia, China, India, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos and Macau.
