Since 1995, I have been successfully involved in the publication of Annual Guides in English (MEETINGREECE – Guide for the visitors to Crete – Newsletters and more).
Through my various professional activities, for publications and shows, I have acquired a deep faith in the special weight of communication.
My comparative advantages are my very good knowledge of English, knowledge of Italian, and knowledge and experience in the field of promotion and sales, especially in the field of Tourism. In my portfolio, I have 70 tourism companies (hotels and offices) that have been supporting and collaborating with me for the last 10 years and with whom I have maintained a solid relationship.
Areas, where I can offer effective services, are Reports: Attracting new customers and serving and retaining active customers. Markets: I maintain a good relationship with 10 hotel units in Athens – 15 hotel units in Crete – 5 in Thessaloniki as well as in Rhodes, Kos, Zakynthos, Samos, and Halkidiki.
Organizations: Events – Meetings on topics of interest to partner tourism companies, with the aim of enhancing their relationships with them. (eg Effective participation in tourism fairs). Press Office: Writing press releases and/or writing topics for publication in magazines to promote the Region. (In 2013 I worked as the Tourism Press Liaison for Monemvasia municipality).
I was the editor in chief for TOURISTIKI AGORA (A leading Greek trade tourism magazine) for 15 years 2002-to 2017. Due to the financial crisis in Greece the publishing company decided to stop the monthly circulation of the magazine and my position and collaboration were terminated. After that, I was working for a monthly issued business newspaper “NEW TIMES” as a tourism columnist. Our collaboration ended 2 years later. After I was working for a trimonthly issued magazine, “grtourism” but due to the problems of the covid pandemic, our collaboration was ended. Now I am working with projects that come along. Due to the Ukrainian war, things have been postponed.
