Sustainability is currently discussed in many ways. The essential and fundamental understanding of sustainability is based on human behavior and human interaction in relation to nature & our environment in order to set standards for life quality with long-term thinking to protect and respect all lives and resources on the planet that we all call home.
For travel industry it is what connects people and locations. We travel for many reasons and now more than ever we need to focus on raising awareness for how we want to shape the future of travel. It’s time to act and create future oriented & long-term well-planned destinations and transportation methods to demonstrate mutual respect & understanding and support the culture of inclusion with multilateral solutions and meet local needs in communities to engage tourist-participation’s in their selected destinations.

This will promote a better perspective for both, traveler and host, to realize their impact and to learn how meaningful and necessary improvements can take place.

Efficiency and effectiveness are the key. Leaders and decision-makers for today and tomorrow have to re-think their current methods that are too often old-fashioned, wasteful and self-serving.
