The Queen was a symbol not only to our friends and family in the United Kingdom, but those around the globe who grew up or lived in a Commonwealth nation. She symbolized a new era to many after WWII and continued to be that stability in a world that dealt with (and continues to deal with) so many changes through her reign. She traveled the world and – in her way – shared the world with so many who then knew they wanted to travel and meet new cultures. I remember waving to her as a child as she passed by in her car. She waved at all of us, but as a child with a child’s eye, she waved at me! I know she touched so many people positively as she waved, she smiled through the telly, she conversed with cultural leaders and all that she stood for. She was a strong woman, a compassionate soul, dutiful to her people and a “Mum” who did her best! She is loved and will be missed. God Save the Queen and may she rest in peace!
We mourn the passing of a legend…
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
It’s the end of an era…
An extraordinary life of public service thru the very end and always with class, strength, dignity, and honor.
Through the 70 years of her reign, years of devoted service to her country and the Commonwealth and its peoples, the Queen has been globally revered and widely beloved. She witnessed history being made and was a part of it. Her knowledge of world events, politics, and power structures was nonpareil. She will forever be remembered as a fierce trailblazer and symbol of stability, elegance, and power.
Rest in Peace Your Majesty!
“When life seems hard, the courageous do not lie down and accept defeat; instead, they are all the more determined to struggle for a better future.”

Alain St.Ange, the VP for World Tourism Network (WTN) on his part from his island home in the Seychelles said that it was with sadness that the news was received. “A great Monarch who was a role model for the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and the Community of Nations. As a 9 year old living in Australia, I had the great honor to meet her during her visit to Melbourne – on her post-coronation commonwealth tour. She was incredibly gracious and personal. She has been an anchor point of decency, honor and charity in her reign. Blessings on her and King Charles.
