Mudi Astuti has been involved in the media, creative, and advertising for the past 25 years. She later joined FCB-CIS, an advertising communications agency, as Tourism – Travel Trade Marketing Director, handling the trade promotions for Indonesia Tourism in 7 Countries.

She owns PT. Strategi Komunikasi Utama, also published the Indonesia 1st travel-lifestyle magazine in Indonesia, ISLAND LIFE. The magazine was launched in Jakarta in 1999.

In 2006 Mudi Astuti expanded her business with an Advertising Agency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia “ Bloomingdale Worldwide Partners “ she was the managing director for SC Bloomingdale Indonesia.

She was actively involved in promoting Indonesia’s Tourism and social activities, including as a board member of the Indonesia Malaysia Business Council ( IMBC ) and GAHAWISRI, The Indonesia Marine Tourism Business Association. Together with the Ministry of Maritime in Indonesia, she developed a blue print for Indonesia’s Marine Tourism Development.

She is also a founder of,  Indonesia SME’s portal. She works with the Ministry of SMEs and Cooperatives Republik of Indonesia  ( RI ) on developing SME supporting systems in Indonesia together with leading providers, both government and private.

She also joined board members of MASTAN – a national standard organization in partnership with the Government’s National Standard Agency; she is now becoming the local partner and director of MAHIS in Indonesia.

MAHIS is a regional established company with a unique patented technology solution to monitor and manage food safety and healthcare training certification and end-to-end technology solutions to traceability catered for the F&B Hospitality industry sector. With her business journey and experiences, she continued to support Tourism Industry and collaborate with WTN to keep supporting Tourism and create solutions and contribute to the more significant impact of Indonesia’s Tourism Industry and Tourism Worldwide.

She was blessed with one Son, who was blessed to build a digital marketing communication agency on his own and is a rising star hip hop rapper musician in Indonesia.

It helps this mother and her son to learn more about penetrating marketing communication agency services in Indonesia in the area of travel, tourism, and lifestyle in particular.

Her passion remains to support elevating the prosperity within the tourism industry and create creative solutions to its ongoing challenges.
