Why you should join World Tourism Network?
The World Tourism Network (WTN) is the long-overdue voice of small and medium-sized travel and tourism businesses with more than 17,000 members and observers in 133 countries.
How are SMEs getting a regional and global voice with the World Tourism Network?
WTN invites SMEs, major stakeholders in the sector, and the public sector (governments) to join its network for dialogue with the interest of the Small and medium-sized travel business in mind.
Advocacy is a major role for WTN, and this is done through a network and discussion groups by an increasing number of local or national chapters working hand in hand with other chapters and the WTN global headquarters and its advocacy campaigns. WTN seeks to create innovative approaches for inclusive and sustainable tourism. Our Chapters are our Inspiration.
Our partners and strategic partners are our strength. Such partners include members from all sectors of the travel and tourism business, including major trade shows, such as World Travel Market, New York International Travel Show, IMEX, and of course WTN’s own events such as TIME, regional and international workshops, training sessions and outreach.
Our chat and discussion groups provide access to a state-of-the-art network of experts, fellow members, media partners, and supporters.
Our “Rebuilding Travel” initiative during COVID-19 was the leading conversation, an exchange of ideas, and a showcase for the best practices by our members in 133 countries. This has been continued.
Our think tanks are the basis of how we network and communicate with stakeholders to make a difference and get our voices heard.
How do we generate business for our members?
WTN’s highest goal is to help SME members to increase business, awareness, and sales.
Activities include research, workshops, training, safety and security consulting, roadshows, sales missions, and providing visibility by media partners, such as our founding member eTurboNews, with more than 2 million readers worldwide.
WTN will participate and offer members to participate in various opportunities, including medical and spa tourism, luxury tourism, and much more.
WTN’s new initiative for the Ageless Traveler (60+) and its certification program, available free of charge to WTN prime members, are another tool for increasing visibility and business.
Are you concerned about Climate Change?
The International Climate & Tourism Partners (ICTP) initiative, which has been leading this discussion since 2001, is now an integrated interest group for the World Tourism Network.
Our TIME Summits launched with a successful TIME 2023 in Bali, Indonesia, in September 2023.
Heroes Awards
Heroes Awards by the World Tourism Network are always free, and anyone who deserves them can be nominated.
Our “Tourism Hero“ Award recognizes those who go the extra mile to serve the travel and tourism community but often get overlooked.
