Mansoor Ladha is an award-winning journalist, travel writer and author of three published books. He has travelled all over the world and has published travel features with pictures aimed at promoting the areas as popular tourist destinations.

Mansoor Ladha has held senior editorial positions with daily newspapers in Canada, Tanazania and Kenya as a copy editor, features editor and publisher. He has published Memoirs of a Muhindi: Fleeing East Africa for the West ( University of Regina) and A Portrait in Pluralism: Aga Khan’s Shia Ismaili Muslims (Detselig). He is currently working on a non-fictions and a novel scheduled to be published next year. He was also among a group of journalists and scholars invited to contribute a chapter in a book called “The Story that Brought Me Here” (Brindle & Glass.)

He was awarded 1. Citizen of the year by Town of Morinville, Alberta, Canada, 2. Silver Quill Award by the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association for distinguished service to newspapers and 3. Bestowed the Governor General of Canada’s Caring Canadian Award for “outstanding and selfless contribution to your community and Canada.
