I am a tourism professional with an undiminished passion, even after 40 years in the industry. Having led Sri Lanka’s premier DMC “Walkers Tours” as Director/CEO, conceptualizing, creating and managing the award winning nature, adventure and eco tourism specialist “Nature Odyssey” and being Executive Vice President of the countries largest Blue Chip corporate powerhouse, “John Keells Holdings PLC” who own and manage the renowned “Cinnamon” chain of hotels in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, I quit the corporate world when I reached the age of 50 to give back to the industry my time, knowledge and proven ability.

Today, I am in International Tourism Consultant, serve as a Non Executive Director on the Boards of Hotels, Train and Mentor industry staff for Corporates and lecture on Tourism Planning, Strategy, Marketing and Management at three Universities. I was President of The Sri Lanka – Germany Business Council and President of the Sri Lanka Association of Professional Conference & Exhibition Organizers. Membership of the WTN will give me great new opportunities to contribute to this vibrant industry which is my passion and life. Through my work I have a great network of business partners and friends all over the world and membership of WTN will no doubt help increase this exponentially.
